Help!cant play dvd's, got decoder and all just that this pops up....
Windows Media Player cannot play the DVD because a problem occurred with digital copyright protection.
Anyone know how to get round this?
Many Thanks

it will play on a stand alone dvd player, but it's being stoped on pc so you cannot copy it

Which of course is outrageous if they are preventing the legitimate use of media you have legitimately purchased. (if that is actually the problem).

Yes they all legal, just wanna watch them on here because the screen is much bigger than my tv.

There are ways to circumvent copy protection, but I would likely be crucified for explaining howto in PCA.

Try taking them back and causing a BIG fuss to try and get copies which WILL play on your PC.

Have you tried them in other DVD players?

You can find other free players by putting ... free dvd player software ... into a Google search. Example result click here
