Digital Camera which uses Seriel/COMM Port Cable

A friend got a Digital camera which connects to PC with a Seriel port/comm port cable, it doesn't have usb !

The only way I suggested was to use her Card reader built into the Printer, but is there any sort of sensible adapter that will work well so as not to keep having to remove the Card from camera as she says she's clumsy and worried she may break the thing.

If the computer doesn't have a spare serial port, you can get one on a pci card click here

This one at DABS has more information click here
The data with it says that it is compatible with Microsoft DOS, Linux, Microsoft Windows NT, Microsoft Windows XP, Microsoft Windows 98/ME/2000. Unfortunately they don't currently have any in stock.
