Digital Camera problems

Hi, Hope someone can throw some light on my problem.

Someone bought me a digital camera (sipix stylecam snap), it's only a silly muck about one but I can't get the cam wizard to install on WinXp. When I put the cd in it doesn't install this component and I can't do it manually. It's frustrating cos I can't view any pictures. I have a webcam installed and don't know if this could be affecting it.

Any ideas?

When you connect the camera to the pc, does the add new hardware wizard come up?

Have a look in Windows Explorer for an extra diskdrive - often cameras are recognised as removable devices. If it is there, you will be able to open it as any other disk and copy the pics from it.

According to a review click here it needs driver updates to work on XP.

Cant help you with your problem directly but I have one working on XP and ME without any trouble. No updates were needed in my case.
