Digital camera not recognised on PC

Suddenly, the PC has stopped recognising my Minolta camera as an additional hard drive (lettered "F" on my windows explorer)when I want to load images. I've tried lots of things: rebooting, removal/reinstallation of device & drivers, swapping Flash cards & trying a different USB socket, but no joy.

Camera & PC seem fine in themselves.

Any thoughts appreciated.

TIA

Look in Device Manager and if you can see the camera Remove it or try reloading the drivers

Woodchip,

There isn't an entry for the camera as such - instead I have something called "Minolta USB Storage Enumerator" which I previously removed & reinstalled using the driver disc. Also there are no little yellow "!" marks against the device to indicate there's a problem.

Anyway, I'm packing up for tonight & I'll try this again tomorrow.

Thanks for the reply.
