Digital Camera

  Madronwell 00:05 08 May 03

I have got an Olympus C3000 zoom digital camera that I want to install onto my pc but every time I try to do this, my pc never recognises the new hardware. How can I get my pc to recognize the camera so that I can install all the software and download my photos onto my pc? I have Windows XP.

Many thanks

You could just use a card reader, eaily the best option.

More info needed

Is this a new moddel or an older one?
XP suported in system requirments?

If it is USB then all you should have to do is plug it into USB and go to my computer to access camera. it should be listed as a removalle drive.

No other software should be needed, apart from third party software if you want to edit or resize pix etc.

Simon, it is an older model but when I contacted Olympus, they advised that the camera can be used on XP. I shall give your suggestion a try. Cheers!
