Difficulty with Canon Wireless printer MP620

  churchwarden 22:36 07 Dec 09

I have just installed Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit on my Acer Aspire 7730 laptop. It shows the printer as 'off line.' Previously it was running Vista Ultimate and connected wirelessly to my Canon Pixma MP 620 Printer/Scanner.
I cannot get it to connect wirelessly with the new OS and cannot understand why. I have 2 other laptops, one with Windows XP the other with Vista Home basic - both connect to the printer without trouble. Can anyone suggest a remedy please.

Your printer is compatible with Win7 but you would need to download the driver for W7 - select your OS from here:

If all else fails you can always remove the printer via Control Panel and re-boot to let Windows find it again. I had to do this when my laptop couldn't find my Canon MP610 across a wireless network.
