difficult to send pdf to web

  Stroller 19:13 30 Jun 06

I would like to upload some pdf files to my website.
For some reason I cannot seem to open the PDF files when building and testing the website.

I would prefer that when viewers click on a link from an index page that the files open in browser with a print and copy restriction.
Even trying to upload teh files as compressed will not work.

I have created the files with Adobe Acrobat, and uploading with Cute FTP home.

where am I going wrong?

do you put the name of the pdf on the web page and then click link and browse to the pdf in question

You can actually upload the file, and see it on the website with cute?

Whemn you click on ther link to it, what actually happens?

If you hover the mouse over a link to a pdf, can you see the url for the pdf appear correctly in the stattus bar?

The only problem I had (loads of pdfs on my site) was in the software I use for constructing it (Web Easy) - in that if I don't bring the pdf click-on image to the front of the box drawn around it, then although the pdf icon shows, the link doesn't work. My site here for reference only for you to look at click here
