Difficult booting.

I have a Mesh Extreme Titan computer with Intel Core T 2 Duo E6700 chip and Sony 19" P5N32-ESLI flat screen. During the normal boot process, I am called upon to press the 'Tab' button to "display BIOS post message". Booting then continues. However, when booting for the first time each day, the process almost always locks up and I have to press the reset button and start all over again. Booting then usually goes ahead o.k.
I have an idea that the cause of this failure to boot is a delay in something vital loading and that there is a tweak to the BIOS to overcome this.
Anybody any ideas?
Thanks
Dobba.

How old is i? if less than 12 months then get it sorted under the gaurentee rather than mess with the BIOS.
