Difference Between Old and New Norton Ghost

  muckbucket 21:04 27 Dec 05

New boy today and here is my first.

As I wanted to clone-not backup-my hard drive,
and bought (encouraged by a friend who has an old Norton Ghost)the newer Norton v9.

I am rather disconcerted that it does not use the word "clone" (the old version does) and indeed the word is not even in the search index.

Does this clone a hard drive please?
Hope you all had a good Xmas

sincerely Alan

No, it creates an image. See click here

Welcome to the forum by the way.

Thank you,
It seems rather more comforting to use a clone rather than make an image file, but I suppose it is just personal.
a Happy New year to you.
