Dialer Virus

Norton has identified the virus 'Dialer.Global' with a file name of 'ieloader.dll' but when I follow the instructions to delete the file, it says that the delete action failed. I have tried several times but to no avail. I have been on the Symantec web site and printed out the pages refering to the virus and all it says is to update your anti-virus software (I HAVE) and run the software (I HAVE)!!!!!!!!!!!!

A copy of the virus may have been saved by System Restore which is protected, thus preventing it from being deleted.

Disable System Restore, run a full virus scan, then re-enable System Restore.

To turn off Sytem Resor,. right click My Computer, then properties, go to Sytem Restore Tab. Untick the top box, & run your AV again after Re-Booting. Don't forget the re-enable System Restore when finished.
