Dial-Up networking popup at Startup!

Hello all,
My mates computer keeps coming up with 'Dial-up connection' at the moment. I presume this is something to do with a program trying to access internet. He has to click the X about 5 times before the b****y thing will dissapear. I know first of all I should really try to find out what program / virus is trying to access the internet, BUT, he uses Broadband for everything. So is there a way of removing Dial-Up connection completely so the program doesn't get access and I don't get the popup! Many Thanks!

either delete any diallers found in network and dial up connections, or tools i/net options connection tab and set to never dial a connection.
