I'm looking for a dial up isp. Can you recomend one that I can join online without having to get a CD, and one which won't muck up my computer settings ( as some of them do

how about BT, you can download the very small bit of software which will set it up for you.

This gives you full instructions on how to connect etc and how to set up your e-mail account.
I use this as a back-up system in case the Broadband collapses.
The phone charges are fairly standard and it works, too!

I have signed up two other people on ic24.net "pay as you go", and given them the details to set up their connection.

Very easy; just open I.Explorer, then select tools, go into Internet option, then connections. The add the new account with your details from the sign up. No CD needed.
