Dial-Up dialogue box appears on start-up

On PC running XP Home the dial up dialogue box appears at start up. Nothing in Start Up folder which would initiate a connection. No damage done, as it requires confirmation to actually start the session. Does not appear to have been hijacked by a rogue dialler, as dial details are for the normal ISP. Any thoughts on where else I should look to find the cause?
