Hi there,

I have just been reading some earlier postings on various computer topics. In one of the postings, the person involved said he had been testing his C.P.U.'s with some kind of metre to ensure that they were still fuctional.
Can someone please advise me on what type of metre this would be, and are they reliable.
The reason being, that since I started building and repairing computers a few year ago, I have accumulated several C.P.U.'s which have not been used for some time, and I would like to know if they are faulty or not.
Thanks for any advice given.

Never heard of a meter for testing CPUs but there are several software programs for doing it.

I use Hot CPU tester click here

lite version from PCA click here
