On looking in device manager I see I have an item 6TO4 Adapter with an exclamation mark against it, on checking it has no drivers, infact I have two can someone explain what the adapter refers to.?
and is it safe to remove as it seems to have no use in the running of my computer.

IP6 Adater in Vista

In control panel, open up system. properties.

Select the hardware tab, and then click Device Manager.

In device manager, click the view menu and select "Show hidden devices".

You'll find "Teredo Tunneling Pseudo-Interface" listed under Network Adapters.

You can right click and disable it.
