This device cannot start. (Code 10)

Can anyone help, NEC OHCI Compliant IEEE 1394 Host Controller unistall reload driver still get same message This device cannot start. (Code 10, running windows xp home.tried usual tricks still no good.

What 'tricks' have you tried so far?

Try uninstalling via device manager and rebooting.

Also if it's a pci card, try it in another slot.

Have you tried uninstalling the driver via device manager?

It should come under the heading ieee1394 bus host controller, right click, uninstall, reboot.
