Can anyone confirm how I locate the desktop keyboard in windows Vista.

I've looked under Start > All programmes >Accessories but can't see it

When you click the Start Button, in the "Start Search" dialogue box under "All Programs", just type osk and that will open the onscreen keyboard for you.

Or you can type osk from the command prompt.

Or, once you have found it, you could put a shortcut to it on your desktop or pin it to the Start Menu.

It really is a brilliant security device to evade the keyloggers and other malware out there. I would never enter Visa numbers etc. straight from my keyboard since I discovered the onscreen version.

It's ironic that one of Microsoft's most useful security devices was not devised with security in mind at all :-)
