Desktop icons

I have 3 user accounts on my VISTA running PC. 1 is mine ( admin ) and then 2 for my 2 kids.

Can I remove the icons for programs that the kids do not need / use, from their desktop. When I right click-delete from their log in's it removes the icon from mine also.( and then when added back it appears on theirs again)

I have the parental controls up and running so they can not do any harm/ use programs they do not need and their account is limited.

Thanks in advance.

If it's the same as XP's structure (might not be) then the icons that are being problematic are actually in the Desktop folder of "All Users" -- copy those that you want to keep into your Desktop folder.
