Desktop Icon Spacing

Hello - Is there a way to reduce the space between desktop icons on Win XP - any information would be appreciated - Thank you - Ian

Right-click an empty part of your desktop.
Choose Properties and open the Appearance tab.
Find Icon spacing (horizontal) and Icon spacing (vertical) in the Item pull-down menu.
Reset the size value to add more or less space between icons. Click Apply and OK.

Hit the F5 key to refresh your desktop and see the new icon spacing.

This is the only way I know of.. Hope it helps

screen resolution can play a big part also.

or right click the desktop/arrange icons by

untick align to grid then move them wherever you wish.
