Is there any way of arranging the desktop icons so they go across the top of the screen (e-w)rather than top to bottom (n-s).
thanks

"Drag and drop" them any which way you want.

teepee33,

right click any empty space on your desk top and make sure 'Auto Arange' does not have a tick next to it. If it does, remove it.

you can now highlight any of your icons on the desktop and move them to where you want on your desktop.

(this works on win98se not sure about other o/s)
