im looking for a new desktop to last for a few year and be capable of playing the latest games (doesnt have to be full settings, but enjoyable non the least). It also needs to be fast for programming applications, photoshop, multi-tasking etc.

Well i came up with this customized pc from click here and would like to know if the price seems about right:

also if you can give advice as whether or not the psu is good enough, or if the system would be good. As a first time pc built on my spec im not sure if it will be good, thanks

then i have the question of:

AMD ATHLON 64 X2 6000+ 2MB SKT-AM2 or Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 (2 x 2.66 GHZ) 1333FSB - 4 MB

ASUS 512MB NVIDIA GeForce 8500GT SILENT MAGIC PCI-E or XpertVision 512MB RADEON HD 2600PRO SUPER PCI-E (personally i hate ati so unless ther is a good reason to use i think i will use nvidia)

I think i want this one at £583.62 X-Qpack II Black - Window
Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 (2 x 2.66 GHZ) 1333FSB - 4 MB
ASUS SKT-775 P5N-MX S/V/L M-ATX 1333FSB
2GB DDR2 PC-6400 800 MHZ (2 x 1 GB 800)
ASUS 512MB NVIDIA GeForce 8500GT SILENT MAGIC PCI-E
600W PSU
320 GB SATA HDD UDMA 300 7200 8MB - FREE UPGRADE TO 400 GB
ASUS DVD±RW 20x DRW-2014L1T Silver - LIGHTSCRIBE (SATA)
Creative Audigy SE 7.1
Fast 10/100 Ethernet Lan (Broadband Ready)
4 X USB 2.0 Ports
Speeze QuadroFlow VIII - Low Noise
ASUS LCD MONITOR 19" WIDE VW195S BLK
GENIUS WIRELESS LUXEMATE 600 LASER KEYBOARD AND MOUSE
GENIUS SPKR 2.0 SP-S110 100W PMPO BLACK
