Dell Monitors

Dell have agreed to replace my 2 year-old faulty P791 Ultrascan monitor (3 year warranty). Am I entitled to a new one? A friend of mine says some companies replace with reconditioned ones.

I don't know the law on it, but it seems that in practice after about 8 to 10 months or so monitors are replaced with reconditioned ones rather than new.

This would probably be better under 'Consumerwatch.

If it is two years old then I think its going to be a case that you Dell are within their rights to give you a reconditioned one. Its not something to worry about as the reconditioned one is more than likely to be fine.
