Dell Monitor D1025HE OK with new Win XP Box?

I am looking to upgrade my old Pentium 400, Win 98 and buy a new system. I would like to keep my old Dell D1025HE Trinitron 17" monitor (1999).

1. Will it be OK with Win XP?
2. Will there be any compatibility problems with the new graphics cards?
3. Are there any other potential problems?

The monitor has refresh rates from 50 to 150Hz and is still serving me well.

Not only will I have more to spend on the new system but also I hate throwing out anything which is working perfectly. Space saving by having a flat screen monitor is not an issue for me.

I look forward to your comments.

Thank you.

There should be no promblems with it - I've seen ancient monitors connected to fairly new machines when the need arises.
