hi there, I am being given back my old Dell Dimension 4500 PC today . I have BT total broadband and have just read I will need a PCI ethernet card. I also wanted one of those thingies that enables me to use the wireless on it. Is it a dongle ??

Anyway will I need to buy both or just the dongle, also will I need to get from Dell or could you recommend a make or suitable one.

Much appreciated

Hi Sue, I assume you have the BT Home Hub, in which case you will need a USB wireless adapter for the Dimension. Something like click here=
but you should find one a bit cheaper.

An ethernet card is also useful so you can have a wired connection, if only for testing purposes.

As ventanas quoted "find one a bit cheaper"
