Somehow I have 'inhereted an unwanted and uninvited programme called ....\adult-chat.exe. Also a desktop icon. Norton Cleansweep comes up with ' you are not authorised to uninstall this programme' and it does not appear on the list of installed programmes in 'my computer'.
Does anyone know how to get rid of this impertinent intrusion?
Thanks.

Click on START / FIND then search for adult-chat.exe. Make a note of where the file sits on your hard drive & delete.

These intrusive little EXE's are usually referenced in the registry & might cause a "This File Cannot Be Found" error, when you restart your computer.

If after deleting the file from the Hard Drive you find you get this error message post back with your operating system details & we will help you remove references within the registry.
