Deleting Typed URLs

I have Win98SE and IE6.I have a number of URLs in my address bar,but can`t find a way to delete them.I have tried the following :- Run/Regedit/HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/MS/IE/Typed URLs but all I get in the RH window is ab[Default] [Value not set].Can anyone steer me along the correct path to delete these annoying URLs.Any help will be much appreciated.

Try: Internet Explorer -> Tools -> Internet Options. On the General tab, click on the 'Clear History' button. G

If only it was as simple as that Crossbow7.Have tried all the usual ways including specialist programs which are supposed to do the job,but nothing will shift them.

You could do worse than downloading something like Cleanup ! from here click here after you use it , it will get rid of the URL's in your address bar and many other things like news group subs , cookies , GID files , prefetch files etc etc , you can configure it do rid your PC of all of these or just some , you choose .
Have a look at it first though from the link I provided.Hope this helps.

Mack1 - I know that's the usual way & you're right it doesn't work at times! Hope curlylad's suggestion works. Good luck, G
