Deleting stuff after Ad-aware scan

I've just installed Ad-aware and run the initial scan. It found 34 'nasties', 30 of them cookies and four relating to a programme which I removed from my system recently. I don't know whether it's ok to delete them. I've had a look in the help file but I couldn't really make sense of it. Any advice would be much appreciated. Many thanks.

If you don't have this program anymore you should definitely delete these files related to it. It's OK to delete these cookies, if you need them they'll probably be recreated, i think Ad-Aware backs up everything it deletes anyway.
