deleting shelliconcache folder

I am hving problems with icons not working as they should. I understant that if i delete this file rebuild will automatically happen on reboot
could anyone tell me how to delete this file,

I am running xp home get a little confused at the dos prompt.

Think the shelliconcache folder became currupt after downloading some themes a while ago.

Often wondered myself, how do you change to a %systemroot% folder?

and click OK. Then follow the instructions in the "click here".

You just type it as is "%systemroot%" (without the quotes). It is an Environment Variable click here
