Deleting Registry Entries

Windows XP+SP2

I have recently removed an Iomega Zip Disk device from my PC and uninstalled all of the software.

In the registry I have found a number of entries for Iomega Corp in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\software and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software. Is it safe to delete them?

As long as I set up a restore point will I still be able to restore those changes after deletion if it causes a problem?

Yes you can delete them and if you create a restore point then going back to that will restore them.

Do it like this. open regedit click on the My Computer, then go to menu under Find type Iomega press enter delete as it finds press F3 to go to next until you get to the end
