Deleting old ISPs

  LAPTOPBABE 14:57 19 Sep 07

I have taken over a laptop which used to be my mums and she had wanadoo which then became orange. There is still references to them on the all programmes list even though there is nothing under add/remove programmes. Could they be hiding somewhere and if so how do i get rid? I am wondering if that is what is slowing down this computer (see my other thread) Cheers!

Open OE then go to Accounts on the Tools menu, select the Mail tab and if you see any reference to your old ISP highlight it click Remove and make sure any new account is listed as the default.

PS - you could also go to Start>Search and type in the name of the old ISP, any references that then show up can be highlighted and deleted from within the Search window.
