Deleting Files from a CDRW

I have got a CDRW with some backup files from my hard drive but i want to delete some of them that i no longer require but it is saying it is read only when i try to delete them i have tried changingattributes by clicking on the read only box so that none of the boxes are ticked but when i click on OK or apply in is saying access denied i am running Windows XP

As far As I recall To enable Write /delete options even for CDRW discs you need to mount into a UDF program ( Incd or Direct CD or similar) unfortunately due to the unrealiable media You can be using the programs and still be locked like this ,I personally would copy all the Cd content to Hard drive (to a "Copy" Folder)Select the files you wish to keep and burn to CDR Then attempt reformat of CDRW disk/disc..

presuming you are using Nero, open Nero, at the top pick recorder then erase rewritable. You cant selectivly delete files unless it was packet wrote.
