Hi,

I can't delete the files that xp wants me to write to a cd. Every time I try, it gives an error "can't delete VBNETH~sln. Cannot find the specified file" ! Does anyone know how to remedy this. I have tried looking in explorer but can't to no avail.

Thanks,

D.

Hi, Google search couldn't find any reference to VBNETH~sln. This could be the virus that is upsetting your Bios settings. cheers, Bill

Hi,

That file is a VB.net solution project file but when I try delete it XP complains with the above message. I've run chkdsk and it found nothing. HELP.

Thanks for that link. It helped. I did a cut and paste to free up the CD writer. Now the files are in my temp directory....which is big help.

Thanks,

D.
