deleting blank pages

Anyone know how to simply delete a blank page in 'Word'?

Put your cursor at the top of the blank page and hit the 'Back' key on your keyboard.

Tried this - it doesn't work.

On the toolbar, use the hide/show button (a backwards looking capital 'P' called a pilcrow) to show all characters.

Find unwanted characters (usually spaces shown by a dot, tab entries shown by an arrow or any paragraph returns shown by a pilcorow) in the 'blank' page and delete all of them.

If there is a forced new page shown by a series of dots and a text message telling you that a new page has been inserted, delete that.

If it was a 1-page document and page 2 appears blank, put your cursor just after the last character and keep pressing delete until the blank page goes away.
