Deleted a virtual Drive 10 gig

I had a virtual Hard Drive WHICH GOT DELETED and now instead of having a 60 Gig Drive I only have 50 How can I recover this loss of space. Is there a prog I can use to scan my drive and find this lost amount of disc space

have you tried visiting the site of the hard drive maker to look at FAQ's and ask for support? Often they have utilities that can be run.

Partition Magic will do what you want as will

ranish partition manager (free one)

but if you are on windows xp, right click on My Computer and choose Manage

then disk management

this will show your hard drive space including any "missing"space.

via this you can set up the space as a new drive (right click on the unallocated space and choose New partition, then follow the wizard. its pretty simple, just remember to leave drive C alone as if you mess with that you could lose your windows completely.
