Delete XP from hard drive

  Hector 21:07 01 May 03

I have been advised that after re-formatting my hard drive I cannot fully get rid of XP previously installed but that there is a piece of software that will do this. Is this true and if so from where can I download the software?

Unless you have sensitive data on your hard drive then a normal format will do and you will be able to install an os on your newly formatted drive.

You may need to delete the existing partitions and create new ones, this can be done by booting with a win 9.x bootdisk and running fdisk.
