Delete Signatures from OutLook Express. HOW?

My wife got carried away when I showed her how to create signatures in OutLook Express. She must have filled the folder up, because she couldn't add anymore.

I suggested she remove some, unfortunately she deleted the actual gif's from the folder on (C) drive.

Now in OutLook in the 'Signature' section she has a long list of headings but cannot remove them so she can start again.

Any ideas on how to do this, or where in the computer are the headings kept. I've done a search with know luck..

Can you help please?

MAT ALAN cheers for the reply. That's the normal way if you have not already deleted the gif from the source folder. Even replacing the exact same gif in the folder does not work.

try this..
Remove the Signature key from the registry:
1. Quit all programs including Outlook Express.
2. Click the Start button, and then click Run.
3. In the Open box, type regedit, and then click OK.
4. Locate and click the following registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Identities\IdentityFolder\Software\Microsoft\OutlookExpress\5.0\signatures
5. Right-click the key, and then click Export to export the key to your desktop to use as a backup.
6. Right-click the key, and then click Delete.
7. Quit Registry Editor, and then restart Outlook Express.
