Delete from server

Entourage for Mac (equivalent to Outlook) has a useful function that I'd like to duplicate in Outlook on my Windows PC: it automatically marks a junk email for deletion from the server next time it runs send and receive. I'm digging around Outlook (I'm using Office 2007) but can't find any way to turn that option on - any suggestions?

Slightly different answer to your question. In Outlook if you have a safe senders list then you can set it to only deliver messages to your inbox from that list.

I am not sure how "new" senders are treated to establish safety, if that makes sense.

Ah, that might be a workaround - thanks, anskyber.

"I am not sure how "new" senders are treated to establish safety, if that makes sense."

In Outlook/Tools/Options/Jumk Email(button)/Safe Senders (tab) at the bottom tick "Automatically add people I email to the safe senders list"

Also on the Options tab tick "High, most junk email is caught, but some regular mail may be caught as well. Check your Junk E-mail folder often".
