Delete obsolete progs from AutoPlay menu?

  Faser 21:34 02 Apr 04

I have entries like Music-Match (in paler text) appear in the pop up AutoPlay Menu when I insert a disc.
This is despite the fact the programmes and all traces of them have been removed.
I don't want to disable AutoPlay but would like to reset its contents. Is this possible?

This may do it if you follow tha advice.

To remove follow these step's closely, go to start\find\files or folders type in the box Music-Match click enter key delete all the entry's it finds with Music-Match in it. Next go to start run type regedit and press enter, go to MENU under EDIT click find in the box type Music-Match and press enter it will bring up only one entry at a time, press delete key then click ok to confirm to go to next entry press F3 and delete do this until you get to the end of the registry. DO NOT TOUCH ANYTHING ELSE IN THE REGISTRY other than Music-Match then reboot your computer
