Delete files accidently added to recovery drive in

  Dummy2008 05:22 10 Nov 08

During a file transfer from one Vista computer to another Vista computer, all the files went into the D drive (recovery)and filled it. How can the recovery drive be opened and the added files be deleted without messing everything up? I do have the restore disks.Hoping to be able to not have to wipe it all and start over. This is my wife's computer

Are you sure the D drive is the recovery utility and not a removable drive? My recovery is on a partition of C.

Graham..thank you for the response. The hard drive is partitioned into 2 drives, C being the active drive and D being the recovery drive.Any further assistance is greatly appreciated.

Right-click on the drive and choose "Explore", that should let you see the files on the D: drive.
