Defragmenting software

I have windowsME, and use Norton v4 for defraging my hard drives.(Speed disc).
This used to work well, but lately seems to be very slow (possibly because I have more data to defrag and less space)
Is there a substantially faster program available, or have I got to live with this?
(about 3 hours to defrag a 21Gb partition with 9 Gb free space)

Try Diskeeper Lite. It's free.
