Hello.
When trying to defrag my hard disk after 4%
Iwas informed there where errors on my disk and to run scandisk which I did.
About halfway through I get the following error.
"Scandisk was unable to finish correcting this error because the top-level folder on this drive is full. Quit scandisk, delete some files from that folder, and then restart scandisk".
Have tried in save mode. "NO CHANGE"
Any help please

What operating system? Win 98?

Try. Start the computer and press F8 and pick start in ms dos mode. When you get the flashing C

Type after this scandisk c: so it looks c:\ scandisk c:

Then press enter, go for the full scan. This will check your hard drive for bad sectors also.
