Defrag must be easier!

Why can't I defrag all my drives and come back and find it compleated? I can do it on my Win98 machine but not in XP. It seems that I have to defrag one by one.

You can automate the process, by using the command-line interface for XP's defragger, or setting up a series of scheduled tasks (leaving time for each one to complete first).

There are plenty of pre-written scripts that will do this - one example is at click here (line 20).
