Defrag hijack

I've loaded a copy of Disckeeper lite to my XP system.

Now I can not run the standard windows defrag program.

Standard practice of diskeeper lite, if you were to uninstall the program then windows xps own utility becomes the default once again.

Oh thats disappointing I used Lite on my old SE system and had the option to run the windows def rag as well. Is there a fix to allow both?

Thanks for your help

Not aware of a fix, though I am a Little bit confused as to why you would want to use XP's defrag utility as I found it painfully slow compared to Diskeeper lite.

I find that Diskeeper has a habit of leaving used blocks in the middle of the drive. I like to occasionally us the windows defragger to free up these blocks and move the data to the front of the drive.

Just a personal thing
