I've upgraded from Windows ME to XP Home Edition.

However, when trying to defrag from "drive/ properties", it tells me that Defrag is not installed.

It can see Defrag when clicking on "Control Panel/Performance & Maintainance/Administrative Tools/Computer Management", nothing happens when I press the 'Analyse' or 'Defrag' buttons.

Anyone got any ideas wots going on?

Cheers

It SHOULD appear in Windows System folder. If it's not there you should be able to transfer it via add remove programmes in settings from your Windows disc.Alternatively it seems perfectly possible to copy it or drag and drop from your windows disc.If this is implausible a pundit is needed to get it right.
