Defrag disaster???

  Space_sticks 13:14 08 Jan 04

I was wondering if someone could help figure this out. I have been running the defrag option on windows XP couple times a month for the the past few months keeping my computer 'neat&clean' so to speak, but wat I have noticed is that the movies(DivX) I have stored are now 'spoilt' ie: every couple seconds it changes colour ie: X's colour then back to normal and other visual qualities have gotten worse. I wish to know whether its coz of the defrag or could be another reason and can anything be done about it. Is it possible my mp3's or other documents quality have been affected

if it's only the divX movies affected, perhaps you could reinstall the codec first, to see if it helps. click here
