Default for Saving Attachments

Running 98SE and IE6.0. When I save an E-Mail attachment it presently saves it to My Documents.
Is there a way that I can change the default from My Documents to the Desktop?


I don't have 98SE, but in Win2000, IE6 seems to "remember" where you want to save attachments. Click on the attachment paperclip, and when the Save Attachments dialogue box pops up click the Browse button and go to Desktop, which should be at the top of the tree display. Select it and click to save there, and from now on whenever you click on a paperclip the path to your desktop should be shown in the box as the default.
