I have Paintshop Pro 7 installed on my PC, Does anybody know how I can make if my default software for viewing photo's sent by email.

Every time I try and open a photo, It opens up in Microsoft Photo Publisher.

Many thanks

You have not mentioned your o/s but as photo's are usually in the jpeg format, you could set your file association so that jpegs are opened with Paint Shop Pro. For Win9x, this is done via folder options. Explorer/View on toolbar/folder options/file types.

Go into Explorer click the photo you want open so it selects it, then press the shift key and hold while right clicking on the selected file in the menu click the box always open with and the select the Program you want to use from the list

Thanks for the advice. Going on your comments, I managed to change it to Paintshop Pro by viewing the folder options in the control panel (using xp pro)

Thanks again.
