Dedicated keys

I have a Microsoft Wireless Keyboard which has several keys which can be dedicated to take me to frequently used websites. How can I achieve a similiar arrangement with a standard keyboard?

You can do it with Opera Browser easily enough since the keyboard is fully customisable. Most Opera users just use a personal bar with favourite bookmarks or folders on it, which is no different in principle to Internet Explorer's Favourites folder, just a bit more accessible.

See this thread on the Opera Forum click here to see how people customize their keyboards for different tasks.

You can also create customized searches:

Typing G "search string" in the address bar will search Google, typing O "search string" will search the Opera knowledge base, etc.
