I'm unable to play DVD's on my notebook (HP Pavillion N5450) I have installed various DVD players in the hope of being able to run DVD's but seem unable to get around this problem. Is this because I may have exceeded my amount of region changes (unlikely) of that the decoder is a separate piece of software. (I have Region Killer installed)
When I boot up the Windows Media Player (Version 9) running under XP Pro I get the following message.

Windows Media Player cannot play this DVD because a compatible DVD decoder is not installed on your computer.
