decided to install avg, just a quick question

hi, have installed avg on my xp laptop. I then ran c cleaner which found a large number of avg files for me to delete, folder is called avg utilities. Can anyone give advice on whether it is safe to delete these files - can I assume that they are just connected to the download and are now unnecessary?

CCleaner application is used by many AVG Free users and no uninstallation caused by this cleaning reported.- see here link text

northumbria61, many thanks for your reply. Looks like it is ok to delete then.
